JFK Airport Hotel Parking at JFK International Hotel.
With more than 20 thousand JFK airport parking spots open to the public, it's amazing that a lot of travelers still go through delays and other hassles from being unable to find a good parking spot sooner. Such mishaps get played out over and over again everyday owing, partially, to the sheer number of people and vehicles congregating on the airport at the same time. New York's Kennedy International Airport, after all, has been acknowledged as the 12th busiest airport on the planet.

This doesn’t have to be your plight - with a little foresight and advance booking, you can effortlessly avoid these unfortunate situations. There are different JFK airport parking facilities to pick when you're doing your trip planning: central airport parking, off-airport private garages, JFK long-term airport parking, and hotel parking. In my opinion, the most cost-effective and convenient option is hotel parking - commonly referred to as the ’park, stay, and fly’ hotel package.

Compared to parking at the color-coded JFK airport parking facilities, hotel parking is surprisingly more cost-effective. I'm using the word 'surprisingly' because most of us associate hotels with expensive prices and such. If you're traveling 10 days, for instance, you'll have to pay approximately $180 for parking costs if you’re parkedat the relatively less-expensive long-term airport parking facility at Lefferts Blvd. If you impulsively parked at the central color-coded parking stations, the expense would be a whopping $1329! This $1329 is hypothetical, of course, nobody on a budget could possibly be that dense to park long-term at short-term rates.

On the other hand, JFK parking at any of the nearby hotels is priced anywhere from $200 to $240 for a room accommodation the night prior to your flight -  packaged with 10 days of free parking. The amount you’re saving from the free parking is essentially paying for the room, not to mention that you get to sleep and park in a premium hotel with all the conveniences and amenities.

JFK Parking Options on Squidoo

Honestly, the number one motivation for you to select the hotel parking option comes down to one word - convenience. Picture this: if your house is three hours away from the airport, you'll have to be up at 1:00 a.m. in order to be at the airport one hour before a 6 a.m. flight, and that's assuming that you're parking at the pricey color coded parking stations. By the time you get off the plane, if it's a short 2-4 hour hop, you'll be light-headed and irritable for lack of sleep.

With the ’park, sleep, and fly’ option, you can drive to the airport hotel unhurriedly the evening before the flight, have a restful sleep, wake up at 5:00 (for the 6am flight), be driven to the airport with full valet assistance - right to your terminal doorstep with someone else taking care of loading and unloading your luggage. The same privileged treatment awaits you at the end of your trip - getting from the airport to the hotel to get your car.

Naturally, a few hotels may provide less-than-stellar services or will cost more than the average price range. Choose the best deals: there’s fierce competition in this industry and many hotels  run very low-priced first-class packages just to get your business. It’s always a win for customers when there are price wars such as this, go ahead and book the best JFK airport parking bargain being offered. Have a hassle-free journey.
